RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold ser S:28
Tuesday, December 21~ 1982, Southold Town Mall, Main Road, Southold,
New York as time and place for a ~ublic hearing to consider ~ proposed
contract with nhe Village of Greenporr for the funishinK Of water for
fire protection purposes by said Village to the Fire Protection Distric~
established in sa~ Town and known as "East-~est Greenport Fire Pro-
tection District, Town of Southold, New York".

· 5. Moved by Supervisor Pell, seconded by Councilman Nickles, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold engage the
services of Pierre G. Lundberg as the Town Bo~rd Representative
on the Arbitration Panel for ~he P.B~A. con,mcr, am a fee of
$90.00 per hour, including tr~vel time and milgage and other
expenses on any occasion he would be required to go elsewhere
than the Southold Town gall.

negotiation with the P.B.A. for a contract for hex5 year, perhaps
a two year con~racr, but it looks like they're going into binding
arbitration.

WHEREAS, it is the opinion of several engineers who have studied ~h~

solu~ion to this constant D~0bt~, and ~ould eliminate the necessity
for frequent dredging operations whfoh have bee~ ~n~ccessfut~ a~d
