On motion of Councilman Homart, seconded by Councilman Rich~ it was
RESOLVED that a recass be taken at 3:30 P.M. for the purpose of
holding a p~blic hearing on the application of Leander Glover, Jr.
for a permit ~o e~cavate sand, gravel, s~one, or other materials.

WHEREAS Frank Sturm has made application to the Town Board to
dedicate certain highways at Greenpo~ ~e be k~o~r~ as- Green Hill
Lane, Inlet Fond Road, and Homestead Way, more fully described in said
petition, together with release executed by the owners thereof, and
~}IEREAS ~ ~ighway Superintendent has inspected the said highways
and has ~ised the Town Board that said proposed highways comply
in ell ~pects with the specifications for the dedication of highw-ays
in the Tow~ of Southold,
NOW, TH~qEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Clerk be and she hereby
is authorized 'and directed to forthwith cause the de~kication, release
and deed to be r~corded in the office of the Clerk of the County of
Suffolk.

RESOLVED tha~ a public hearing will be ehdl by the Town Board of the
Town of Southold~ Suffolk County, New York, at the Supervisor's Office,
J6 South Street, Greenport, New York, on the 25rd day of December, ~975,
at 5:30 o.'clook P~M..~of said day, for purpose of considering s
contra~t ~ith the Villageof Greenport, Suffolk County, New York, for
fire p~0tec~ien to be furnished by said Village to the Fire Protection
District establishedin said Town and known as "East-West Greenport
F~re ~rotection Distric±, Town of Southold, N.Y?' upon the following
(a) The FireDepartment of said Village shail be subjec~ ~o
call for attendance upon any fire occuring in said District
with a~minimum of three pieces of apparatus and suitable men
and equipment when notified by alarm or by telephone call from
any'persOn within said District.
(~n nbtified by silent alarm or slarm other than a general
alarm, sai8 Department shall E. espond with such men and apparatus
as sh~ll be deemed suitable by the Chief of said Department.
(c) The comtract shall be for a term of five years commencing on
~a~uary 1, 1976.
(id) For s~chls~icesthe Village of Greenport shall receive the
following ¢nm~ SOnually, to wit: 1976 - $18,000.00; 1977 -$21,000.00;
11978-$24,000~0; 1979 - $27,000.00; 1980 - $30,000.00.

Gon~ectionlwith such contract.
