THIS INDENTURE, made the 15th day of April , nineteen hundred and ninety-six
BETWEEN GERALD C. KING and ALICE W. KING, husband and wife, both residing at 423
Sixth Street, Greenport, New York, 11944

party of the second part,
WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part, in consideration of Ten Dollars and other valuable
consideration paid by the party of the second part, does hereby grant and release unto the party of
the second part, the heirs or successors and assigns of the party of the second part forever, an
undivided one-half mit interest
ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon
erected, situate, lying and being at Greenport, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York and
designated as lot number thirty six (36) on a certain map entitled Subdivision map, part of the
Estate of Thomas F. Price Sr., which map is made by Otto W. Van Tuyl, dated November 29
1927, and filed in the office of the Clerk of Suffolk County, New York, which lot is bounded on
the North by West Street, 150 feet; on the East by Sixth Avenue, 50 feet; on the South by lot
number 37, 150 feet and on the west by a portion of lot number 59, 50 feet.
And it is understood and agreed by the parties of the second part that certain Streets shown on
the above said subdivision map and known as Oak Street , Maple Street, West Street and Seventh
Avenue and running to the property of the Union School District No. 10 on the Westerly side of
the said Subdivision Map have been closed at the Junction with the said Union School District
No. 10 property and they are DEAD END Streets.
RESERVING, HOWEVER, a legal life estate in the above-described premises with the buildings
and improvements thereon erected, in and to the party of the
BEING AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises conveyed to the parties of the first part by
deed dated May 26, 1948 which deed has been recorded in the Office of the Suffolk County Clerk
on May 26, 1948 in Liber2830 page334.
TOGETHER with all right, title and interest, if any, of the party of the first part in and to any
streets and roads abutting the above described premises to the center lines thereof, TOGETHER
with the appurtenances and all the estate and rights of the party of the first part in and to said
premises; TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the premises herein granted unto the party of the second
part, the heirs or successors and assigns of the party of the second part forever.
