DearMs. Cusack:
We would like to have the trustees come to inspect the erosion
problem and perhaps suggest solutions at Martin Schwartz's house at
Ninth Street in Greenport. Enclosed is the $50 fee.
The neighbors on either side have bulkheads at their waterfront and
it seems now that our small dune at the beach is being eroded during
storms. We would like to create a connecting bulkhead (or retaining
wall,) from both neighbor's structures to prevent the sea from
flooding the lawn during future storms.
The tax map # is 49-1-24
Please let us know when the visit will take place. (You had
mentioned January 15, which would be good for us.)

Do you have a cell or Greenport phone number? The forecast for Monday is rain and the Board may move their
inspections to Saturday depending on the weather, and want a number to call you at if there is any change in
