INSTRUCTIONS
0. This application MUST be completely fiilcd in by typewriter or in ink and submitted to the Building Inspector with 4
sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
mv~s, and waterways.
c. The wonk covered by this application may oct be commenced before issuance of Building Permit
d. Upon approval ofthls application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inapceti~ throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in pa~t for any ~ what so ever until the Building Inspector
issues a Certificate of Oeanpeocy.

Solar Ground Installation & footing design
I have verified the adequacy and structural integrity of the Unimc U-LA system for
mounting of Conergy solar panels and their installation will satisfy the structural design-
loading requirements of the New York State Building Code based upon the model
International Building Code - 2000 (for this solar structure the New York State
Residential Code that is based upon the International Residential Code is not applicable.
As indicated on the Solar Center drawings, the Unimc frame posts are embedded in
concrete sonatube footings that are the recommended installation method of Unirac and
meets the site design conditions for wind loading -120 mph Exp C and snow loading - 45
psf.
Thereby, I endorse the solar panel installation and certify this design to be structurally
adequate.
