CERTIFICATE OF ABANDONMENT OF
SUBDIVISION OR PART THEREOF
PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION 3
OF SECTION 335 of REAL PROPERTY LAW
EAST END SUPPLY CO., INC., a domestic corporation duly
organized and existing pursuant to the laws of the State of New York,
having a place of business at 203 Front Street, Greenport, New York,
and THOMAS L. JERNICK and VIRGINIA JERNICK, his wife, both residing at
No number St. Mary's Road, Shelter Island, New York, for the purpose
of abandoning and cancelling the subdivision of those certain tra, c~s

3 of Section 335 of the Real Property Law of the State of New York, doe
hereby certify:
1. That annexed hereto is a certified description of certain
tracts of land, situated in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk
and State of New York into lots, plots, blocks or sites as more fully
appears on said description.
2. That more than two (2) years have elapsed since the filin(
of said maps.
3. That the tracts of land owned by the undersigned, the
subdivision of which are to be abandoned and cancelled are situate in
the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, have an
area equivalent to that of two or more contiguous lots and are known
and described as set forth in the descriptions annexed hereto and made
a part hereof.
4. That the said East End Supply Co., Inc. and Thomas L.
Jernick and Virginia Jernick, his wife, are the owners of said tracts
of land described in the description annexed hereto and hereby abandon

and cancel and, effective with the due approval and recording hereof,
consent that same shall no longer exist.
5. Endorsed hereon is the approval of the assessor or
Board of Assessors of said Town of Southotd.
6. Endorsed hereon is the approval of the Superintendent of
Highways of the Town of Southold.
7. Submitted herewith is an abstract of title of said tract
of land to be abandoned, covering a period of at least twenty years
last past, and a certificate of the County Treasurer of Suffolk County
to the effect that there are no unpaid tax liens against the said land~
to be approved by the County Clerk of Suffolk County at the time or
recording hereof.

In the Matter of the Abandonment
of Certain Highways in the Town
of Southold
Certificate
of
Abandonment
The undersigned, RAYMOND C. DEAN, Superintendent of Highways of the
Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, hereby certifies:
1. That the highway in said Town of Southold known as Seventh Street and
extending from the Southerly line of Corwin Street southerly to land of the Long
Island Railroad Co. has not been traveled or used as a highway for six and more
years prior to the date of this Certificate and said highway is hereby declared
abandoned pursuant to Section 205 of the Highway Law as a highway and a public
right
of way. Said abandoned highway is described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point on the southerly line of Cogwin Street on the
extension southerly of the westerly line of Seventh Street; running
thence along said southerly line of CorwinStreet, South 88 degrees
38 minutes 20 seconds East 50.26 feet to a point on the extension
southerly of the easterly line of Seventh Street; thence along the
extension southerly of said easterly line of Seventh Street, South
7 degrees 09 minutes West 63.03 feet to land of Long Island Railroad
Co.; thence along said land, South 84 degrees 11 minutes 40 seconds
West 51.31 feet to the extension southerly of said westerly line of
Seventh Street; thence along said extension, North 7 degrees 09 minutes
East 69.46 feet to the point of beginning.
2. That the highway tn ~aid To~-n of Southold known as [gighth Street
exte.nding from the Southerly line of Corwin Street southerly to land of the Long
Island Railread Co:: has not been traveled or used as a highway for six or more
years prior to the date of this Certificate and said highway is hereby declared
abandoned pursuant to Section 205 of the Highway Law as a highway and a public
right of way. Said abandoned highway is described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point on the southerly line of Corwin Street on the
extension southerly of the westerly line of Eighth Street; running
thence along said southerly line of CorwinStreet, South'88 degrees
38 minutes 20 seconds East 50.21 feet to a point on the extension
southerly of the easterly line of Eighth Street; thence along the
extension southerly of said easterly line of Eighth Street, South
6 degrees 36 minutes 40 seconds West 100.61 feet to land of Long
Island Railroad Co.; thence along said land, South 84 degrees
11 minutes 40 seconds West 51.20 feet to a point on the extension
southerly of said westerly line of Eighth Street; thence along said
extension, North 6 degrees 36 minutes 40 seconds East 107.03 feet
to the point of beginning.
That the above abandoned highways are shown on a certain map entitled "Map
Showing Properties of the Greenport Milling Co. at Greenport, New York" dated
October 19, 1918, prepared by Halsey and Van Tuyl, a copy of which is annexed
hereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the .,undersigned Town Superintendent of Highways
