The Planning Board will waive the site plan requirements provided that all site plan requirements are in conformance with the Town Code. The plan dated August 5, 1990, and labeled Fuel Tank Upgrade, and prepared by N.D. Eryou, PHD, PE, meets the code requirements for a non-conforming side yard set back as reviewed and agreed to by Mr. Victor Lessard, Principal Building Inspector. All footings shall bear on undisturbed soil having a ~inimum bearing capacity of 3000 lbs per square foot. All exterior footings shall be a minimum of 4'-0" b~low grade unless otherwise noted on the plans. 2. All concrete work, details, and construction methods shall conform with the pr0vtsi~ns of the American Concrete Institute "Building Code Requirements for Reinforced Concrete" and local building codes. If codes conflict, local code shall take precedence. 3. Concrete compressive strength shall be 3500 psi at 28 days. Three (3) test cylinders shall be taken for each day's pour and for each 50 yards of concrete . One shall be tested at 7 days and two at 28 days. Forward results to the Engineer. 4-. ' AIL reinforcing steel shall conform to the current requirements of A.S.T.M. A615-60 except welded steel wire mesh - which shall meet A.S.T,M. A-185. 5. All concrete surfaces to have medium broom finish. Chamfer all exposed edges of concrete one inch (1") unless otherwise noted. Containment pad surfaces to be finished with two coats of Epolon, two part polyamide paint. 7. Existing soil in the slab area shall be removed to a depth of 2' and replaced with well compacted gravel or crushed rock, which has a minimum bearing capacity of 2000 lbs/ft. 8. Concrete cover on all reinforcement shall be as follows, unless otherwise noted: - concrete placed against soil - 3" - exposed formed surfaces - 2 1\2" - floor slabs -- 2" from top surfaces !~. Where possible, existing pipes are to be re, located to pass over the dike wall. If wall penetrations are necessary, CLOW mechanical wall joint sleeves (Model F-1429) of the appropriate size shall be cast into the dike wall. 12. The containments (or enclosures) shall not exceed three feet around the existing concrete base or existing tanks, whichever is larger; and 2. The landowner must apply for and submit sufficient plans to show the existing tanks and new proposed construction, and of course receive an approved building permit; and 3. The proposed containments and construction shall not protrude over property lines. In the event there is a question of clarification or further determination which is not clear in the zoning code, or which is questioned by an involved agency concerning the zoning aspects of the project, these questions must be directed to the Board of Appeals for consideration before permits are issued or actions taken.
