I.n ou~ recent telephone conversation we discussed, among other things, the issue
of the ownership oft~e open space and your request, eventually~ fbr a field plan
Ihere is apparently a consensus in having the open space owned by one or
of ~.he lots. It is our current intention that my family will retain lot 4 and my si~tar's
family will retain the merged lot. {Neither of us have current plans to build on these iots.)
While there ~re some ach, antages to owning the ope~ space, there are also disadvantages,
principally the requirement to pay taxes on it, Our preferable pl~ would be to split the
open space between these two lots The fact that my sister'a lot will be the merged one
will~ I hope, not be a problem.
When the lot lines az e drawn, we should, I believe, be able to come up with a
yield plan. We have e~ough acreage. The plan certainly would not be one that we would
wish to develop, but once approved, it would be history. For that plar~ however, we
would have to include all of the open space.
I send herewith a skomh plan showing these proposed changes. I have elimi~ed
access to the open space along the eastern boundary.
