The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit. · d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work. e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose what so ever until the Building Inspector isstles a Certificate of Occupancy. f. Every building permit shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months after the date of issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date. The calculation is based on the addition of the existing deck space which will be covered with a roof deck as part of the proposed plan. The additional space only includes the deck area below the new proposed roof deck. Existing Retail -1,700 sf/200 sf per space = 8.5 Light Industrial - 1,800 sf/500 sf per space = 3.6 Office - 1,100 sf / 100 sf per space = 11 Storage - 3,500 sf / 1000 sf per space = 3.5 Total Existing = 26.6 spaces New Deck with Roof- Assembly - 1,585 sf / 100 sf per space = 15.9 ~/~ 7~;~ Grand Total = 42.5 spaces Spaces Provided = 44 Based on the calculations above and the existing parking space allocation, there are sufficient parking spaces to handle the new deck.
