Description: This site plan is for additions & alterations to an existing winery on a 5.6 acre parcel in the A-C Zone. Status: Application review & review comments Recommendations: Consider approving the amended site plan at the Special Meeting on September 22, 2008. Attachments: Staff Report Project name: San Simeon by the Sound SCTM#: 1000-45-2-2 Location: 61700 CR 48, Greenport Description: Alterations to existing nursing home facility to include change of room lay-out in existing buildings and additions of stairs, canopy, generator and freezer, adding two new parking areas for outpatient care area. Status: Application review & review comments Recommendations: Consider approving the amended site plan at the Special Meeting on September 22, 2008. Attachments: Staff Report Project name: Outdoor Public Events (Liegey) SCTM#: 1000-55-5-6 Location: CR 48 & Youngs Ave, Southold Description: Request for a permit to hold an outdoor event from 10/2 – 10/31 Status: ZBA comments for Special Permit Recommendations: Grant in accordance with prior conditions Attachments: Draft Memo Project name: Blue Duck Bakery SCTM#: 1000-63-3-12 Location: 56275 NYS Route 25, Southold Description: This site plan is for the proposed conversion of an existing automotive service building to a bakery in the Hamlet Business zone. Status: Request for Final Inspection Recommendations: After a site visit and discussion with the Town Engineer, the request for a final inspection should not be granted at this time. The parking area is not yet finished, their engineer has not submitted certification that the drainage is adequate, nor has the applicant submitted an as-built plan showing changes made to the approved site plan. Attachments: Copy of Request Southold Town Planning Board Work Session – Page Two – 9/15/08 Project name: Group for the East End SCTM#: 1000-62-1-4 Location: 54895 Main Road, in Southold. Description: This site plan is for the proposed re-use and alteration of a building to office space. Status: Request for Final Inspection Recommendations: Consider granting approval with the condition that landscaping will be completed by 10/31/08. Attachments: Approval Letter w/ Agreement Project name: Hart’s True Value Hardware SCTM#: 1000-70-5-6 Location: 50000 Main Road, Southold Description: Applicant has an approved site plan. Applicant seeks to amend the approved site plan by adding asphalt pavement to the site in place of the gravel surface. Status: Approved Site Plan Recommendations: Require adequate drainage and coordinate with other agencies with jurisdiction if necessary (Trustees, NYSDOT). Attachments: Engineer Report Subdivisions Project name: Arlene and Edgar Marvin SCTM#: 1000-117-10-9.1 & 9.2 Location: 1260 Jackson Street, New Suffolk Description: Proposed lot line change to add 100 s.f. to SCTM#1000-117-10-9.1 (40,030 s.f.) from SCTM#1000-117-10-9.2 (50,603 s.f.). R-40 zone. Status: Initial Review/Lot Line Modification Recommendations: Applicant believes the lot-line is necessary to bring lot 9.1 into conformance because it is less than one acre. Consider returning the application to the applicant with letter explaining that the code requires only 40,000 s.f. per lot in the R-40 zone, not a full acre (43,560 s.f.) Attachments: Staff Report Project name: Clark’s Beach SCTM#: 1000-40-1-23 Location: CR 48, Greenport Description: This proposal is to subdivide a 14.835 acre parcel, into two lots, where Lot 1 would be 6.326 acres and sold to Suffolk County as park land, and Lot 2 would be 8.509 acres and owned by the Village of Greenport in the R-80 Zone. Status: Application Recommendations: Consider granting Sketch approval at 9-22-08 Special Meeting. Attachments: Staff Report Discussion: Heritage at Cutchogue. Traffic Study review with the traffic engineers who prepared it.
