(License #:084106), hereby certify that the proposed 24"x 24" x 10" deep pier footings for the floor girders were installed as per the approved construction plans. A 7" wide, 4" deep and 10" high beam pocket was installed midway along the west wall in lieu of one (1) of the three (3) pier footings. The 2x12's are suitable for the span and loading conditions. - Although the construction drawings illustrate two (2) rows of metal cross bracing, the single row of cross bracing, centered within the ls` floor addition will provide adequate stability to the 10" truss-joists 12" on center. - The manner in which the new roof was framed to meet the existing roof structure was modified to decrease the amount of new rafters dependent upon the proposed 14" double LVL header in the loft azea. The builder was required to triple the LVL header and has extended the existing wall along the ledge of the loft area in order to shorten the length of the header to the proposed ornamental post (which is no longer required due to the change). The rafters from the existing roof along the south side roof tie-in area shall be supported by a flush header in the'2"d floor hallway (outside the proposed bathroom). Enclosed you will find two (2) stamped originals of the revised construction drawings with the above referenced modifications to the framing of the addition. The builder shall erect temporary railing along the existing loft area until the permanent handrail is re-installed at a later date.
