SPECIAL EXCEPTION in accordance
SECTION 360
THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION IS REQUESTED BECAUSE : vIe "ish to erect an advertizing
sign on our premises, '-'f/S Day Ave, East Marion, N.Y. - "M" district,
size aproximately 3 ft by 4 ft, double faced and illuminated to
indicate the location of our apartments for rent.
It is impossible to see the sign from the north coming dmvn
Bay ave from the main road as there ar too many street trees in the
highway right of way, and the trees on our property are inside of
our property line so that there is no clear line of vision.
vIe propose to locate the sign on our pri va te utility pole
which is on the prop"'rty line, and has all of our electric connections,
and telephone connections attached to it. This is the best location
and the most convenient for the electrical connections to the sign, and it
gives the best "sight line" from the main road approach that vie can get.
