State hereby apply to THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS for a SPECIAL EXCEPTION in accordance with the ZONING ORDINANCE ARTICLE III SECTION 300 SUBSECTION 11 THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION IS REQUESTED BECAUSE The former location of this sign was on property belonging to Edwin H. King of Orient, on the North Side of Route 25, East of the Drive- in theater at Greenport. Due to the recent change in Route 25 at tnat point, this sign location has beoome of no value. For this reason I wish to relocate this sign on property that I own on the North Side of Route 25, near Greenport. The location that I have picked out would be about half way between the side lines of Sterling House on the West, and.Bingle on the East. It would have a grove of trees as a baokground, and oould be seen only from the street. I would like to bring out that this sign was at its former location for between 20 and 25 years, and that due to changes beyond my oontrol I now must relocate. This is not an additional sign, only a relocation of one that existed for many years. This sign is approximately 5' x 4', and direots people to the summer resort known as The Bay House and Cottages. A oopy of this sign is attached. STATE OF NEW YORK ) "j~J/) COUNTY OF j~p"pJ9/) 55 Sworn to thi5....4..~ay ~f.....j....t~.....19.1!.~.. ....................~d.~~~.~i;~;~..... JUDITH T.
