REASON FOR APPEAL
Continued
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce UNDUE HARDSHIP because
This parcel is much larger than is required by ordinance for building a home,
and there would be about 34,137 sq ft in each parcel altho there is only 85 ft
frontage on the road, and 100 ft on the water. The adjoining lot served by this
right of. way have a. ta,pering frontage of less than 100 ft. ' To deny .:this division
would be an undue ha~dship in that there is no way to increase the road frontage.
2. The hordship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this' property and in this use districJt Because This is the only parcel of this size
iV this location that is for sale, and having this frontage.

3. The Voriance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because: The adjoining lot is now about the same size and shape
as the proposed lot 'division .would make. This'is If residential area of mostly'
summer homes, there being a "cottage colony" not far distant and summer hOr.les adjacent
to these lots. The proposed use is residential sa that there would be no change
in chariqter or harm to the neighborhood.
