A specialmeeting of the Southold Tow~ Board was held at the office
ef Supervisor Norman E,.~ Klipp, at Greenport.on Monday, August 16, ·
1958. The meeting was called to order at ?.~30 p.M. with the following
present: Supervisor Klipp$ JUstices Terry; Tmthill; Albertson an4
Clark; TowaAttorney Terry and Towa¢lerk Booth.
The purpose of the meetir~g was that the Tow~Board approve the
redraft of the centract~between the Fishers Island Ferry District and
the UoS. A~my.

WHEREAS, by Resolution dated May 21~ 1958, the Tow~Board of the Tow~
of Sout~old approved a certain contract entered into between the
FishersIsland Ferry District and the Unted States of America
(DePartment ef the Army) (#W30-O%2-TC-Sll-~8) and
WHEREAD. the~said Fishers Island Ferry D~strict has agreed upon and
approve~ certain amendments to said contract, including the addition
ef ar~ical D-11 Su~-contracts, the extenttom of said agreement for
one year c~mmenc[ng ~ulY l, 1958~ and the ren~omberi~g ef said ¢~n-
tract to be (W301,315 T (A A-1)-I)
NOW THEREFORE BE IT. RESOLVED: That in view of the exigencies of
thelsituatiom~ the TowmBeard approve and it h~reby doesapprove
the acts ~f t~e Fishers Island Ferry District in entering ~nte
maid contract as amende~.
U~animously adopted.
The Towa Clerk was'instructed to notify A. Joh~ Gada~ Hams C.
Hans Lawrence S. Baldwin, Le!and H~ Goss, and Serge Doyen, S~,
that were elected commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry
District at.the an~al meeting held on Aug. 10, 19~8~ andre notify
Mrs. Mildred E. Andrews that she was no longer a commissioner of
the Fishers, Island Ferry District.
