HomeMy WebLinkAboutTB-09/20/1949Meeting of~September 20, 1949. .The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman'E Klipp at Greenport o~ Tuesday, SepteMber 20, 1949. The meeting was called to o2der at 1:30 P.M..with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry; T.uthill; Albertson and C&ark; Town Supt. of Eighways Price; Town Attorney Terry an~ Town Clerk Booth. The minutes of. the previous meeting were read and duly approved as read. James Gagen and Eugene Gagen appeared before the Board, protesting about produce leaded'trucks parking luff'ant of their premises on Youngs Ave. across the road from the Cauliflower Assn. Auction Block. The.~requested the Board to have no parking signs erected in front of-their property. The Board stated that as the auction Block was open only part time it would, not be practicable to place such signs. ~upervisor ~lipp stated he would take the matter up with Dwight Corwin, Manager of the Cauliflower Assn. to see. if there could be some provision made for trucks to park on the cauliflower Association propertty. Moved by Justice Terry; Seconded by Justice Tuthill: Resolved: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board -be. held at the office of the Supervisor at Greenpo~t, on Friday, Oc~. ?~19~9, at 1:30 P.M. Unm ~1 mously adopted. ' The. date of this meettnE was later changed to Tues.
