The Southo!d Town Board met at the office of Supervisor

RESOLVED~ that ~his Town Board dees hereby prepare and approve as the
preliminary budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginning on the
1st day of January~ !9~1 ~ the itemised statement of estimated revenues
and expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this resolution~
and be it
FURTHERERESOLVED that such preliminary budget shall be filed in the
office of the ~own Clerk where it shall be available for inspection by
. anz ~nterested person at all reasonable hours~ and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED~ that-this Board shall meet at 2 o'clock P .M.
on the 9th day of November ~ for th'e purpose of holding
a publi~ hearing upon such

BUDGET NOTE RESOLUTION OF October 77 19107 of THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD~
of SUFFOLK CO~TY~ NEW YORK~ in the.A~8~I~ OF

BE IT ~ESOLVED this 7th day of October~ 19[0~ by the Town Board of the
Town o~ Southold~ New York7 as follows:
Sectfonll, That~ pursuant to the Local Finance Law of the State of New York~
the TO~N OF SOUTHOLD~ NEW YO~ for the purpose of paying the cost ~of
snow r~moval and erection of snow fence during 19~0~ the same being, an
expenditure for which an insufficient appropriation was made in the
current annual budget of the Town of °outhold~ shall ~issue and sell a
budget ~ote in the amount of $ 6~000.OO to mature on March l~ 19~l.
Eectipn 2. That. exeeot as herein specifically prescribed, 'said note
shall be of the date~ terms~ form~ contents and place of payment and at
a rate of interest not exceeding two percentum per annum~ as may be
determined by the Town °upervisor~ consistent~ however~ with t~e provisions
of the ~said Local FiRance Law of the State of New York~ and sna_! be
executed in the name of the said Town by its Supervisor and the seal of
said mo~n shall be attached thereto,
SectiOn 3. ~hat said note shall be sold at private sale by the Town
Supervisor at a price of not less than per value and accrued interest~
if any~iand upon due execution said s~le of said note the same shall be
delivered to the purchaser upon payment by him to the Town Supervisor
of the ~urchase price in cash; and the receipt of such Supervisor ~hall
be a full acquitance to such purchaser who shall not be obliged to see.~
to the application of the p~chase money.
Section 4, The full faith and credit of the Town of Southotd~ New York
are p!e~ged to the punctual payment of principal and interest on said ~ote,

New YOrk~hereby acknowledges itself indebted and for values received promises
to pay to~irst National Bank of Greenport the sum of Six Thousand(67000,O0)
Dollars~on the First day of March i9[17to~ether with interest thereon from the
date hereof at the rate of percentum(l,90%)per aom~_m~ payable annually~Both
principal of and interest on this note will be paid in lawful money of the U,S,A,7
at the office of the Supervisor~GreenportTSuffolk Co,TN:Y. This note may not
be converted to registered form, This note is the only note of an authorized
