The meeting was called to order'at ~:30 P~M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry; T~uthitt; Albertson and Clark; Town Superin- tendent of H~ghways Price and Town 01erk Boeth~ ~The minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly approved as read~ Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by dustice Terry: Resolved: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board be held at the office off the SUpervisOr at Greenport on Tuesday, ~uly~, 1950, at t:30 P.~. Unanimously adopted. ~taLm~ against the Town were audited by the board. ~ved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Te~ry: ~ ~ Resolved: That General Bills in the sum of $i,~02.~? be and the same are hereby ordered paid. Unanimously adopted. Resolved; That the To~wn Board hereby requests the State Traffic Commission, pursuant to article ~ of the ~ehicle and Traffic Law place signs restricting speed limit to 30 M.P.H. on the Cotu~ty ~gh- way two hundred' feet west e~ l~ilt Colony Road and five hundred fee~ east of the Southold To~£~ Beach. Unanimously adopted, The Oommissieners of the Mattituck Park District requested the Town Board to place additional poles and street lights in the ~attituck Lighting District No. 1. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved: That the Supervisor be authorized to take neaessary steps to amend the contract between the Town of Southold and the Long island Lighting Company to place additional poles and street lights in the Mattituck Lighting District No. i as requested by the Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District. Unanimously adopted. A cemm~mication was read from Wit!iamB. Granger requesting a leave o~ absence for three months from his duties as constable of the Town of Southold. Moved by Justice Tuthilt; seconded'by Justice Terry: Resolved: That the request of leave of absence by William Granger; Constable of the Town of Southold be laid on the table until such time as request is accompanied by a certificate of a oualifiad physician residing and practicing in the Town of Soutfold, such certificate to indicate to the satisfaction of the Town Board that William H. Granger is unfit to continue and pe/~ormhis duties as Patrolman ~Constabte~ o~ the Southold Town Police Department. Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Tuthiil; seconded by sustice Albertson: Resolved: That the contract for the purchaseof uniform caps, shirts and pants for the Folice Department be awarded to Abe Drown.
