The mee~ting was' called to order at'l:30 P.M. with the following present: Superv£sor ~ Klipp~ Justices Terry, Tu~hill, Albertson and~Clark; Tow~S~upe~n-' tendent of Highways Price~ Town Attorney Terry and TownClerk Bobth~ The Board sat at once as a committee on audit to examine claims against the Town~ concluding the audit work at 2:&~ P.M. ~Eoved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Terry: R~Eo~ed~: That the regular monthly meeting of this Board will be held at the. office of the Supervisor at Greenport, on T~esday~ May 23, 1950~ at l:SO P.M. UnanimSusly ~dopted. A. Halsey ~rown and Raymond W. Terry appeared before the Bo~rd re- p~s~n~i~ the Town B~ard of Assessors requesting the TOwn Board to give them full support in case of certiorari proceedings brought before the Board of Assessors for review of tax assessments~ The Board agreed to defend any such case. The minu~es of the previous were read and duly approved as read. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Clark: Resolved: That the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized ~to purchase one table and two swivel chairs for use in the Superviso~'s OffiCe. m~i~ously adopted. Moved by~e ~erry; seconded by Justice Albertson: Resolved: That the Town Clerk be and hereby is instructed to inform_ the Long Island Lighting Con, any that ~sseo Road mt Laughing Waters, Southold, N.Y. will be rest~veyed, redescribed and recorded in the T~Own Clerk's office as a highway by Use in accordance with Section 140 of the Highway Law.~ Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Albertson: Resolved~: That the Police Report for the month of April be accepted · by the Town,card and placed on file. Unanimously adopted. Moved byJustice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark: Resolved: That General Bills in t~e sum of $1521.725 Lighting DiS~ trict Bills in the sum of $1173.~; Non-reim~ttrsable Welfare Bills in the sum of $2S.81; and Fishers Island Ferry District Bills~ Account #2~ in the sum of $6512o~1 be and the same are hereby ordered'~paid. Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Clark; mconded byJustice Albertson:~ Resolved: That the Town Board does hereby approve the letter'of agreement between the Fishers Island Ferry District and E.S.Wilcox in the operation of the vessel Col John E. Baxter and TP-52 in the sumof $5700.00 from April i to April SO, 1950~ both dates inclusive. Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Tuthill: Resolved: That the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to pUr.~ chase a galvanized wire fence to be eredted to protect Town ~ropert~o ~nanimously adopted.
