KIipp at Greenport on~Friday~ February 10~ 195Q;L The meeting ~S Called to order at 1.~30 P,M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry; TUthill;'Albertson and Clark; Town Superintendent of Highways Price; Town Attorney T~rry and Town Clerk Booth.. The Board sat at once as a committee on audit to examine claims against the Town concI~ding the audi~ work at 2530 P.M. Moved by Justice Tut~ill; seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved: That General Bills in the sum of $~l~$,02$District Bills ~n~th~. sum of $6985.08;.~non-reimbursable Wetfare Bills in the $3b..2~F~hers Island Ferry Dxstr~ct Bills~ Account #2 i.n the sum of $~53~.34~be and the same are hereby ordered oaid. Unanimously adopted. - Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved: That the regular mon~hly meeting of this Board be held at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport on Tuesday, February 21~ 19~0~ at 1:30 P.M. Unanimously adopted. Resolved: That inasmuch as the required dedications have been duly receive~, map of same duly filed and the necessary papers signed, the Town Board take over and maintain as a public highway Petty Road, at Southold. ~ UnanimoUsly adopted. Resolved: That the Supervisor b~ and hereby is amth~rized to con- tributelthe stem of $300. to the EO~ary Club to defray the expense Gf ~ublishing booklets on Southold Town to be distributed at, the Sportsmens' Show which is to,he held in New York City. Unanimously adopted. Messrs. Smith & Hamilton representing the Lidico Corporation~ appeared before the Board to show a map of a proposed road and ~50 feet of beach on the Sound, west of Kenneys Road~ on their property~ at Southold~ which they wish to dedicate to the Town of Southold. The Board stated they would accept same as soon as the necessary papers were presented to the Board. Moved by Justice Albertson$ seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved: That on the recommendation of Chief of Police Anrig, James P. Kelly, Town Constable, be granted an ex.tension of leave of absence on account of illness. Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Albertson~ seconded by Justice Clark: Resolved: That the~To,wnBoard does hereby approve the contract dated January 16, 1950, between the Fishers Island Ferry District and Robert G. Williams~ Public Accountant~ with office at 56 State Street~ New London~ Co~. Unanimously adopted. Moved by J~tice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill: Resolved: I~hat the Town Board ~oes hereby ap rove the letter of agreement between the Fishers Island Ferry District and E.S. Wilcox in the operation of the vessel Col. John E. Baxter and the I.P.-52 in the sum of $3806.25 from January l, to January 31, 1950, both dates inclusive. Unanimously adopted.
