The Southold Town Board met at the office of Norman E Klipp at
Greenpor~ an Tuesday~ Oct. 30~ t9~1. The meeting was called~to
order at 1~30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp;
Justices Ter~y~ Tuthill~Albertson and Clark$ Town Superintendent
of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and were duly
approved as read.
Moved by Justice Tuthill~ seconded by Justice Albertson:
RESOLVED: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board
be held at the office of the Super¥isor at Greenport~ on Thursdays

'RESOLVED: By the Town Board of the Town of Southold~ that Ralph
P. Booths Town Clerk be: ~n~ ~e~eby2is~ authorized to dispose of
record items numbers 1-2-3-*-5-6-7-~-~ on Records Disposition
Request List Number i dated October~ 19~1~ issued pumsuant to
section 114 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education~
and be it further
RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Board be~ and hereby is: directed
to furnish s certified copy of this Resolution to be forwarded
to the Commissioner of Education.

RESOLVED: That as the necessary requirements having been met~
dedications duly received~ map of same duly filed and the necessary
papers signed~ the Town Board take over and maintain as public
highways Douglass Street and Harbor Road~ situated at 0rient~
Town of Southold~ N.Y.
Unanimously adopted.
A communication was received from Henry Williams~ Principal of
Southold High Scho~!~ stating that the street lights in front
of the school were inadequate. Also Justice Albertson requested
a change in ~he street light on Main Road.

RE'~uL~: that the Town Clerk ~adamd herSby is directed to request
the Long island Lighting Company to remove the 100 c p street
light on pole No. 3 and pole No. 6 and replace with 600 c p
street lights~ on Oak Lawn Avenue~ in the Southold Lighting Dis:-
trict. Also remove one 100 c p street light on pole No. 388 on
the Main Road and erect one 2~0 c p street light on Pole No. 77~
at the corner of ~ain Road and Cottage Place in the ~outhold
_ Lighting District.

RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board approves the action of the
Fishers ~sland Ferry ~istrict Commissioners in si nih su lement-
ary agreement No. l, ~ic~nse Contract No. BA30-O?~-EN~-lg~
between the Fishers Island Ferry District and the Corps of
Engineers~ U. S. Army~ for the rights to the non-exclusive use of
Silver Eel Cove ~ock~ together with buildings No. 258~29~and
the north wing of building No. l: located at Fort H. G. Wright~
Fishers island~ New York: and including certain access roads~ for
an extended period of one year ~p to and including September 30~
1992~ and be further
RESOLVED: ~hat Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be and he hereby is
authorized to sign the above mentioned supplementary agreement in
behalf of the Town of ~outhold~ Suffolk County~ New York

RESOLVED: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be authorizpd to transfeP
Two Thousand Dollars ($2~000.00) from Fishers island Ferry ~istrict
Account #2 to Fishers Island Ferry District Account #~ This
amount partially replaces monies previously transferred from
Account #l To Account #2.
Unanimously adopted.
At 2 P.M. O'clock in accordance with a notice published according
to ~aw~ bids were ppened for proposals to paint the outsid~ of
the Town'Bui!ding located on the north side of Main Road in
Southo!d.
Moved by Justice Clark~ seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the bid of ~eorge Vloutely for the painting of the
Town B~ilding on the north side of Main Eoad~ Southold~ be laid
on the table for further consideration.
Unanimously adopted.
