Meeting of May 22~ 1951 The Southold Town Board met at the office ofSuperVisor. Ner~R E, Klipp at Greenport on Tues.~ May 22, 1951. The meeting was Oalled to order at 1:30 P.M.. with the following present,Supervisor Klipp; JUaticesTerry$ Tuth~ll~ Albertson, and Clark; Tow~Superintendent of Highways PriCe and ~own Clerk Booth. ' The minutes of the previous meeting were read and were duly a~proved as read. Moved by Justice Albertson$ seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved~ That the regularmonthly audit meeting©~f this Board w~ll)be held at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport~ on Tues., Jt~ue 5~ 19~l~ at 1:30 P.M. Unanimously adopted. The following resolution was offered by Justice. Albertson;~ seconded by Justice Terry and was unanimously adopted by a rising vote. Whereas~ God in his Pravidence has taken from our midst the spirit of Radford C. Shau~lin~ and Whereas~ Radfo~d C. Shanklin served the Town of Southold as Justice of the peace, Deputy Town Clerk and Sub-registrar of V~i~l Statistics faithfully and efficiently for a period of 28 years. . Therefore, Be It Resolved: That the Southold Town Board deeply mourns the passing of this friend and associate and extends it~ profound sympathy te the members of his family in their bereavement. Be It ~urther Resolved: That the Town Clerk be and he is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the members of his family and a copy of the Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and become a part of the publio~record of the Town of Southold. Moved by Justice Tuthill; Seconded by Justice Albertson: Resolved; that the plan prepared at~.~the request of this Board for the improvement of town highways and covering all projects con- templated by it~ pursuant to Chapter 825 of the Laws of 19~0, as filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Southold~ County of Suffolk, on the 22 day of May~ 19~l~, be and the same is hereky adopted; and be it further Resolved~ that copies of such plan be filed in the appropriate State and County office in accordance with the' provisions of Section 2~ Chapter 82~ of the laws of 19~0. Ayes: Supervisor Klipp, Justice ~lbertson~ Tuthill and Clark. Not Voting.., ~uper~ntendent of Highways Price and Justice Terry. Moved by Justice Alhertson; seconded by Justice Tuthill: Resolved: That the Town Clerk be and hereby is directed to request the Long Island Lighting Company to install one additional aerial street light in the Sonthold Lighting District~ said light to be placed on pole # 7~6 at the intersection of Mechanic Street and the Main Road~ also transfer the aerial Street light from pole to pole #7~1, at the intersection of Oak Lawn Avenue and the gain Road~ said lights to be of ~00 c.p. Unanimously adopted. adjournment was at ~:15 P..M. Ralph P. Booth Town Clerk
