Klipp at Greenport~ on Tues.~April 24, 1951. ~he meeting was called to order at 1:30 P. M. with the Following present: Supervisor Klipp; JusticeSTerry, Tutthill, Albertson and Clark; Town Superintendent Highways Price; Town AttOrney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and were duly approved as re~d~ Meved by'Justice A!bertson; seconded by Justice Cl~rk:~ Resolved:~That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board will be held at the office of the .Supervisor at Greenport, on Tues.~ May 8~ 19~l~ at l:~O P. M. UnanimoUSly adopted. Moved by Justice Albertson$ seconded by Justice Clark: Whereas, it is the intention of the Town Board of the Town of Sou~hold to establish a Recreation Project and Whereas, the Town of Southold is about to submit an application~o to the New York State Youth Commission forits approval~ and if approved~ to apply subsequently to the State of New York for partial reimbursmeht of funds expended on said project, as pro- vided by chapter ~6 of the Laws of 194~, as amended: Now, Therefore Be It Resolved: That such application is in all ~espects approved and Norman E. Klipp~ Supervisor~ is hereby Girected an~ authorized to duly execute and to present said application ~to the New York State YOuth Comm&ssion for its approval. This resolution shall take effect immediately. Unanimously adopted. Winters be compensated for such se~¢ice in the amount of One Thousand ~ix Hundred Dollars($1,6oo.OO) per.year, and ~ Be it Fur. ther ResolVed. Unanimously adcpted. The hearing on the matter of purchasing machinery for the High- way Department which was advertised in accordance with Section 142 of ~hs. Highway Law w~s d~ly opened at 2.~0 oclock P.M. No person~e~ before the Board to speak either for or against the items mentioned in the legal notice.
