The minutes of the previous meetings were read and dully approved as
read.
Joh m F. McNulty and Harold R. Reeve, Commissioners of the Mat-
tituck Park District~ appeared before the Board, requesting its ap-
proval to purchase a plot in Mattituck to be used for a parking place.
The Board statedthey had no objections.
Herbert W. Wells appeared before the Town Board, requesting th~ Beard te
take over a road on the property of George H. Wells Est. at Pecomic.
The Board will view the proposed road im the near future.
A letter was read from Mr. Harold I. Gold, commending Police Officer
George Wetmore for his efficient services at the scene of an accident
in Orient on Oct. 5, 1~7. The letter has been turned over te
Wetmore.

Daniel R. Grattan petitioned the Beard to take~o,verr-and-wer~ a high~ay
on his property at Southold. The Board will view the proposed road
in the near future'.
