The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor S,
Wentworth Horton, at Greenpo. rt on Tuesday, July 21, 1947. The
meetiag ~was called to order at 1~30 P.M. wi~h the following

R~solved: That the Chief of Police be instructed to purchase
from the Standard Railway Fusee Corp. one gross of flares at
a price of $40.00 per gross.
Unanimously adopted.
Moved by Justice F~wkins; seconded by Justice Klipp:
Resolved: That General Bills in the ~mo~nt of $2,96~.45 amd no~
reimbursable Welfare Bills in the amount of $~2.88 beand the
same are hereby ordered paid.
Unanimously adopted.
A letter was read from Mr. E.L. Hofmann, Superintendent of the
Long Island Railroad Cb., stating that they proposed the in-'
stallation of flashing light highway crossing sisals at
Depot Dane, Peconic .Land and Railroad Ave., Southold.
The Town Clerk was instructed to communicate with Mr. Hofmann and
request that a flashing light be installed at Tuckers Lane cros-
sing at Southold, in addition to the other three c~essings.
