Wentworth Horton at Greenporton Friday~ February 7, 19~7~ The meetin$.was called ~o order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: upervisor Horton, Justices Terry, Hawkins and Klipp; Town Superintendent of Highways, Price; Town Attorney~ Terry and Town Clerk, Booth. Mr. Bernard Kaplan, Secretary of Dawn Estates, Inco, appeared before the board presenting a map of Capt. Kid Esta~es~f0r SUb- division purposes. Moved by Justice Terry, seconded bM Justice Klioo: Resolved: ihat the Togn Board approve in accordance with sec. 335 of the Real Property Law, the map presented by~Bermard~Kap- lan for s~b-dDvision purposes known as Capt. Kid Estates at Mattituck Inlet,~ Mattituck, N.Y., owned and, developed by Dawn Estates, Inc. UnanimouslY~opted. Mr. Floyd King and Mr. Elbert Luce of Orient, appeared before the Board requesting the Board to pass an ordinance governing tra2ficand parking on Main Street in the Village o~f Orienb, N.Y. The Board agreed to propose such an ordinamce. The Board then sat as a committee on audit to examine claims against the Town. ~MoV~d by.Justice Hawkins; seconded by Justice Klipp: . ~Resolve~. That General Bills in the amount of $8,261.91; non-reimbursable welfare bills in the amount of $~8!.$6 be and the same are hereby ordered paid. U~am~us~y adopted. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly approved as read. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Klipp: Resolved: That Ahtone Chituk, Town Constable be granted an extension of leave of absence from Feb. 7, 19~? to May l, 1957. Unanimously adopted. ~ Letter was read from H.E. Campbell, proprietor of the Gree~ port Auto Sales, quoting the price of two Ford two-doo~ sedans with equipment to be used by the Town Police for patrol duty. Moved by Justice Klipp; seconded by Justice Hawkins: Resolved: That the Town Board hereby approves the purchase of two Ford two-doer sedans from the Greenport Auto Sales at a total price of $1595.39 each, with equipment as Stated in Mr. Campbell's letter, less excise tax on sirens and the two cars, unless the tax has been previously deducted. Unanimously adopted. Moved by J stice Hawkins; seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved: That the ~own Clerk be instructed to request the Long Island Lighting Company to install four (~) additional lights in the Cutchogue Lighting District~ at New. Suffolk, said lights to be placed on poles #22, 25 and 28 on Grathwohl Road and on pole ~3 on Oak Road. Unanimously adopted. A ~ub~ic Hearing will be held at the Su~ervisor's office at Green- port, N.Y. on March 7, 1957, at 2:00 P.M. to consider the recom- mendation of the Superintendent of H~ghways for the purchase of much inery and e~uipment in excess o~ $500. in accordance with Chapter 1~2 of the H~ghway Law. Moved by Justice ~erry; seconded by Justice Hawkins: Resolved: That the regular monthly audit meeting of the Town Board be held on March 7, 19~?, at 1:30 P.M. ~n animously adopted.
