The Southold Town Board met at the office of Suvervisor S.
Wentworth Hbrton at Gree~port, on Tueaday,.Septemher 17,
19~8. The meeting wac called to' order' at 1:30 P.~. with
the following present: Supervisor Hort~n; Yusti~e'Terry,
Hawkins and Y~ipp; Town Superintendent of Highways Price;
Town Attorney Terry and To~m Clerk Booth.

The minutes of the previous meetings were read and duly ap-
proved as read.

Resolved: That' General Bills in the amount of
Reimbursable Welfare Bills in the amount of® $4?,25 and Non-
reimbursable Welfare Bills in th~ amount, of $22.~4 be an~ the
same is hereby ordered paid.

Whereas, God im His Providence has taken from our midst the
~irit of William B~ Reeve.
Whereas, William B. Reeve served the Town of Southold as a
JUstice of the Peace faithfully and efficiently for a period
of many years.~
TH~REFORE BE IT R~SOLVED. That the $outhold Town Board deeply
mourns the loss of tb~a friend and associate and extends its
profound sympathy to his bereaved f~m~ly.
~E' IT F73RT~R RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he is here-
by ~ireeted to spread this Resolution upon the minutes of this
meeting, and he is further directed to send a copy ~hereof to
members of his immediate family,.

Whereas, Under Section 86, ~aragraph 2, of the Social Welfare Law of
the State of New York, payments of reimbursable home relief may be
m~de by the '~wn ~elfare'Officer from a revolvin~ fu~d, set up by the
Town Board:
