A letter was read from Ella ~L. Phillips tending her resignation as
Clerk for the Supervisor, to become effective as of February 29, 1952.
Moved~by. Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESBL~ED: That the resignation of Ella L. Phillips as Clerk'for the
Supervisor be accepted, affective as of February 29, 1952, and be
it further
RESOLVED: That this Town Board accept this resignation with regret,
and be it further ·
That the Town Board is deeply appreciative of the many
faithfuland efficient service rendered to the Town

RESOLVED: That the To~n Board of ~e Town of Southold approves the
action of the C~mmissioners of the Fishers ~sland Ferry District and-
be it. further ·
RESOL~ED: That Ernest J. Bowles be compensated for such position in
the amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($3000.00) per year, payable
mo:nt~hly.payments, and be it further

Tr~ fficer to direct traffic at the Cutchogue School Crossing
at Main Road, to fill the vacancy during the absence
of Officer Frank Coyne, be it further
: That the compensation for such duty will be Four Dollars
per day, f~r each school day worked.
