This letter certifies that an inspection was preformed on the above mentioned property and
here are my findings:
1 Insulation in Cathedral area runs all the way to the ridge.
2 5/8 sheetrock will be installed in ceiling area around HV AC duct where it enters attic
space and will be fire caulked.

INSTRUCTIONS
a. This application MUST be completely f1lled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted to the Building Inspector with 4
sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.
b. Plot plan showing location oflot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, and'waterways.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
1. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose what so ever until the Building Inspector
issues a Certificate of Occupancy.
f. Every building pt;rmit shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months after the date of
issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date. If no zoning amendments or other regulations affecting the
property have been enacted in the interim, the Building Inspector may authorize, in writing, the extension of the permit for an
addition six months. Thereafter, a new permit shall be required.

Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of South old, Suffolk County, New York, and other applicable Laws, Ordinances or
Regulations, for the construction ofbuildmgs, additions, or alterations or for removal or demolition as herein described. The

authorized inspectors on premises and in building for necessary inspections.

product. The amount of heat 1065 through a product is defined by its V-Factor.
The lower the V-Factor, the less heat is lost through the product. The less heat
that is lost through the product, me lower your heating costs.
Lower Cooling Costs
Looking to lower your cooling costs? Look at the product's Solar Heat Gain
Coefficient (SHGC). This rating, on a scale of 0 to 1 tells you 'how much heat
gain enters through the product. The lower the value, the less heat gain through
the product into the room. The less heat gain, the lower your cooling costs.
'visible Light
Looking to maximize the amount of light that comes through the window, patio
door or skylight? Look at the product's Visible Transmittance rating. The higher
the rating, on a scale of 0 to 1, the more light enters the room through the whole
product. This rating takes into account the non,glass portion of the product as well.
Given the same type of glass, a product with a higher visible transmittance will let
more light in through the rough opening in the structure.

When comparing the energy efficiency of one product to the next, look for the
NFRC label. The energy perfonnance label developed by the National Fenestration
Rating Council (NI:RC) improves the ability to make producHo-product compar-
isons of energy performance. Traditionally there were numerous methods of testing
for energy performance, leading to confusion and inconsistency when comparing
product energy performance. NFRC certification and labeling simplifies this process.
Importance of Whole Product Performance.
Traditionally, energy performance information has focused on just the glass.
The NFRC certification and labeling program tests, certifies and labels the
performance of the entire product: glass, sash or panel and frame. While glass
informarion can be helpful, always look for the NFRC label when comp\l.ring
product-to-product energy performance.
