Went- worth Horton, at Greenport, on Wednesday, April 25, 1945, The meeting was called -to order at 1:30 P,M. with the following pre- seni: Supervisor Horton; Justices Terry; ~fswkims and Case; Town Sup.erintendez~t of H~gh~ays Price; Town Attc~rSey. Terry and Town. Oierk Booth° The ~nutes of the previous meeting were read and dully approved as read. Moved by Justice Case; seconded by Justice Terry: t~esolved: That the Town Clerk be instructed to request the Long Island Lighting Co. to install one (l~ additional light in the Cutchogue Lighting District, said light to be on Pole No. 3 on Stiltwater Avenue, Fleets Neck, Cutchogue. unanimously adopted Moved ~by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Case: R~ olved. That the regular monthly audit meeting of the Town Board, be held on ~ednesday May 2, 1945 at 1:30 unanimously adopted This meeting was later posponed until Monday May 7 1945 at 1:30 P.~. The m~et- lng was called to order at i:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Ho~on; Justices Terry; M~w~kins and Klipp; Tomm Sup- erimtendent of Highways Price; Tow~At~orney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. The Boar~ sat at once as a committee on audit to examine claims against the TOWn, concluding the audit at 2 P.M. The m~nutes of the previous meeting were read and duty approved as read. Moved by Justice H~wkins; seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved: That General bills in the amount of $4,683.82, Reim- bursable Welfare Bills in the amount of $14,~0, non-reimbursable Welfare Bills in the amount of ~.25 be and the same is hereby ordered p~id. Unanimo.mmly adopted. Moved by Justice Klipp; seconded by Justice Hawkins: Resolved: That a proposition be presented to the voters at the November Election whether or not to appropiate funds for the purchase of a SouthoId Town o~ed incinerator plant, Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Hawkins: Resolved: ~hat the regular meRthty meeting of the Town Board be held on Friday, May t8, 1945, at 1:30 Unanimously adopted. The Board then recessed to view several roads that have been requested to be taken over by the Town. Property of G. Fred Grath- wohl at ~w Suffolk, C.H. Wic~bam and George I, Tuthilt & Ors. at Laurel. The Board also inspected several roads throughout the Town on general Town Matters, these roads included Naugles~Dr. at Mattituck, Duck Pond Rd. at Cutohogue, Mill Road at Peconic, Kenneys Rd. and Hortons Lane at Southold Adjournment was at 4:45 P.~.
