Dear Mr. Haje,
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on June 29, 1995 regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, En-Consultants Inc., on behalf of NICK ARONIADIS ,
applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the
provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
application dated April 26, 1995, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on June 29, 1995, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Beard members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHE~,, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
W~EREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THERF2~ORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
NICK ARONIADIS to construct a 185 t.f. (plus 15' returns) of
stone revetment using 3-5 ton stone on 100-1000 core, 10-50 1.f.
blanket, approx. 375 c.y. of clean sand will be trucked in for
backfill, a i2' wide area of revetment will be ~de suitable for
a boat launching ramp for owners private use.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit
issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

notice is hereby given that the Southold Town Trustees, as Lead
Agency for the action described below, has determined that the
project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
Please take further notice that this declaration should not be
considered a determination made for any other department or agency
which may also have an application pending for the same or similar
project.

should the project be implemented as planned.

With regards to the above mentioned application, please note that the Department of State
has yet to receive a Federal Consistency Assessment Form (FCAF) and supporting
information for this proposed project. During your review, if it is determined that a federal
permit (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) is required for any portion of the proposed action,
please instruct the applicant to submit a completed FCAF and supporting information to
the U.S. ACOE/NY with a copy of the information to Ms. Diana Boos at the Department
of State. Upon receipt, we will determine if the submitted information is adequate to begin
review of the proposed project for consistency with New York State's Coastal Management
Program.
