MEMO FOR THE TRUSTEES:
Date: July 21, 1986
Re: Wetland Application No. 406 - Richard Anderson
Please be advised that Mr. Gardiner was into this office regarding
a concern about the dock proposed for the above referenced. Mr. Gardiner was concerned
if a boat was moored on the outside of the dock, that it would possibly
obstruct the navigation and possibly be in the channel.
i advised Mr. Gardiner that the Trustees can put a provision on the permit
that if there is a problem with navigation or interference when the dock is
constructed that he will be ordered to remove same, or reconstruct so that
it is pulled back to the bank out of the channel.
**** Also Mr. Gardiner advised that that area is shallow, he did not know how
he would get a boat in without dredging. I advised him that if he wishes to
dredge he will need a permit for this work, if he intends to do same.
To date, we have no request for this work.
Ilene Pfifferling
P.S. I took the liberty of calling the agent, Environment East, Inc. to
advise there is concern with the dock in realation to the channel. Requested
a diagram of the proposed dock with a sketch of where the channel is in relation
to the dock.
They advised they will sumit the drawing with the information for the file.

Gardiner advised that that area is shallow, he did not know how
he would get a boat'in without dredging.
