Dear Mr. Anderson:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during their regular meeting held on July 21, 1988 regarding your
request to construct an addition to your residence.
RESOLVED that the Town Trustees Waiver the need of a wetland
permit for James Anderson to construct an addition to his
residence on property located at 165 Freeman Road, Mattituck.
Please be advised that this determination is not a
determination for any other department or agency which may have
jurisdiction in this matter.
Kindly remit the required $25.00 fee for this waiver at this
time.

Dear Sirs:
It is my intention to build an addition to my house. There is
a drainage ditch (100 feet north) that runs off an open field
and enters Mattituck inlet via a culvert under Wickham Avenue
(150 feet east). The culvert is equipped with a flapper flood-
gate to prevent salt water intrusion to the ditch during high
tide.
As indicated on the attached survey, it is 80 feet from the
corner of the outermost wall of the addition to the beginning
of wild grass. Trees are outlinning this portion of the
property.
To help expedite the process of obtaining this building permit,
please review the attached survey and render your decision as
to the fact that our structure wil be at least 75 feet from
any property that can be construed as wetlands.
