Request from Sierra Club for parking permits to access Mattituck Creek for canoe and kayak trip 2. Proposal of The Nature Conservancy 3. Fundraising for animal shelter (9:30 a.m.) V. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 714. Appoint Melissa A. Carroll as a part-time Food Service Worker at the Human Services Center. 715. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute separate Temporary Easement Agreements and any additional documents necessary to complete the acquisition of temporary easements for the closure of the $outhold Town Landfill. 716. Accept the bid of Colony Ford Truck Center for two used dump trucks for the Highway Department. 717. Grant permission to Chief Cochran and Lt. Flatley to attend the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services Executive Development Seminar for 2001 November 13-14, 2001 in Brentwood. 718. Amend Resolution #662, September 25, changing the date of the law enforcement SNAP Long Island Conference Class from October 9 to January 29, 2002. Grant permission to Recreation Supervisor Ken Reeves to attend the Special Event Planning for the Recreation Professional on December 11,2001 in Brentwood. 720. Authorize modification to the 2001 General Fund Whole Town budget for office supplies and youth program instructors in the Recreation Department. 721 Grant permission for the Oysterponds Union Free School District to use Town roads on October 31,2001 for their Halloween Parade. 722. Grant permission for the Cutchogue Fire Department to use Town Roads on October 31, 2001 for their Halloween Parade. 723. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a change order to the agreement with General Code Publishers to complete the Building Permits backfile conversion project. 724. Set 4:35 p.m., November 8, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on "A Local Law in Relation to installing a four-way stop sign at the intersection of Oaklawn Avenue, Wells Avenue, and Jockey Creek Drive, Southold". 725. Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2001 budget for full time coverage in the Zoning Board of Appeals. 726. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign an Inter-municipal Agreement with the Town of Huntington to exchange leaves generated by the Town of Huntington for municipal solid waste generated by the Town of Southold. 727. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for bids in joint coordination with the Town of Huntington for equipment and labor for hauling municipal solid waste from Southold to Huntington. 728. Authorize modification to the Whole Town Marine 2001 budget for gasoline and oil. 729. Accept the bid of Thames Shipyard & Repair Co. for the drydocking of the MV/MUNNATAWKET plus supplemental items as necessary. 730. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2001 budget to appropriate donations for purchasing memorial street trees. 731 Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute the 2002 Juvenile Aid Bureau Application. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for the position of Maintenance Mechanic I at the Southold Town Human Resource Center. 733. Accept the letter of intention to retire of Venetia McKeighan from her position as Senior Citizen Center Manager effective December 29, 2001, and extend best wishes to her. 734. Authorize the release the $107,559 performance bond for the subdivision to be known as Pheasant Run Estates 735. Authorize the reduction of the $3,964,216 performance bond for Peconic Landing at Southold in the amount of $1,339,875. 736. Approve the 2002 Preliminary Budget; and set 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., November 8, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on the Preliminary Budget. 737. Approve the 2002 Preliminary Capital Budget; and set 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., November 8, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on the Preliminary Capital Budget. 738. Grant a temporary six-month house trailer permit to Joseph Smith. 739. Grant permission to the Sierra Club Coastal & Park Resources to use no more than 10 parking spaces at the Mattituck Creek Inlet parking field on June 30, 2002. 740. Appoint Michael Imbriglio as Deputy Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Fishers Island. 741 Grant permission for the Southold PTA to use Town roads on October 31, 2001 for the Halloween Parade. 742. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2001 budget for equipment, supplies and services at the landfill. 743. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign an Agreement with NYS Department of Environmental Conservation for the Fishers Island Drainage Project. 744. Set 4:37 p.m., November 8, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on the purchase of certain parcels of property from the Peconic Land Trust as contract vendee with owners Andrew and Bernice Lettieri, SCTM #1000-23-1-3.4 and 20, and SCTM #1000-31-5-1.2.
