Ritchie Latham Bennett Orlowski, Jr. Valerie Scopaz, Town Planner Melissa Spiro, Planner Mark McDonald Kenneth Edwards Robert Kassner Martha Jones Mr. Ward: Good evening. I'd like to call the February 14, 1994 Planning Board meeting to order. The first order of business is the setting of the next Planning Board meeting. The Board to set Monday, March 7, 1994 at 7:30 P.M. at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold as the time and place of the next Planning Board meeting. Mr. Orlowski: So moved. Mr. Latham: Second. Mr. Ward: Moved and seconded. Ail in favor? Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Orlowski, Mr. Ward Mr. Ward: Opposed? Motion carried. ****************************** Hearings Held Over From Previous Meetings: Mr. Ward: Hitlcrest Estates - Section 2 This major subdivision is for 20 lots on 22.9 acres located in Orient. SCTM$ 1000-13-2-8.5 What's the pleasure of the Board? SOUTHOLD TOWN PLANNING BOARD 2 FEBRUARY 14f 1994 Mr. Lath~m: I'd like to offer this resolution. BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board continue to hold the final hearing open for an additional time period to expire at the Planning Board's March 28, 1994 meeting. This is the final extension that the Planning Board will be granting for this subdivision. Mr. Ward: Is there a second? Mr. Orlowski: Second. Mr. Ward: Motion seconded. All in favor? Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Orlowski, Mr. Ward. Mr. Ward: Opposed? Motion carried. ~AJOR AND MINOR SUBDIVISIONS, LOT LINE CHANGES AND SET OFF APPLICATIONS Final Determinations: Mr. Ward: Annette Zabohonski - This minor subdivision is for 2 lots on 5.91 acres located on Crescent Ave. on Fishers Island.~ SCTM$ 1000-6'2-1. Mr. Orlowski: I make a motion that BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board authorize the Chairman to endorse the final surveys dated January 23, 1994. Conditional final approval was granted on January 31, 1994. All conditions have been fulfilled. Mr. Latham: Second the motion. Mr. Ward: Motion seconded. All in favor? Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Orlowski, Mr. Ward. Mr. Ward: Opposed? Motion carried. (CHAIRMAN ENDORSED SURVEYS). Preliminary Extensions: Mr. Ward: Summit Estates - Section 2 & 3 - This major su~ivision is for 35 lots on 40.8223 acres located on the southwest corner of Main Road (NYS Rt. 25) and Shipyard Lane in East Marion. SCTM$ 10'00-35-8-5.3. Mr. Latham: Mr Chairman, SOUTHOLD TOWN PLANNING BOARD 3 FEBRUARY 14, 1994 BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board grant a six (6) month extension of preliminary approval from February 25, 1994 to August 25, 1994. Conditional preliminary approval was granted on February 25, 1991. Mr. Ward: Is there a second? Mr. Orlowski: Second. Mr. Ward: All in favor? Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Orlowski, Mr. Ward. Mr. Ward: Opposed? Motion carried. Sketch Determinations: Mr. Ward: Mary Holland (Estate of Frank Dawson) This proposal is to set off a 7,153 square foot parcel from an existing 14,300 square foot parcel at Jackson and Third Street in New Suffolk. SCTM~ 1000-117-9-19.1. Mr. Latham: Mr. Chairman, BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board grant sketch approval on the map dated November 30, 1993. Mr. Ward: Is there a second? Mr. Orlowski: Second. Mr. Ward: Seconded. All in favor? Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Orlowski, Mr. Ward. Mr. Ward: Opposed? Motion carried. Mr. Latham: Also, BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board start the lead agency coordination p~ocess on this unlisted action. Mr. Orlowski: Second. Mr. Ward: All those in favor? Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Orlowski, Mr. Ward. Mr. Ward: Opposed? ~otion carried. SOUTHOLD TOWN PLANNING BOARD 4 FEBRUARY 14, 1994 MAJOR AND MINOR SUBDIVISIONS, LOT LINE CHANGES AND SET OFF APPLICATIONS - STATE ENVIRONSIENTAL QUALITY REVIEW ACT Lead Agency Coordination: Mr. Ward: We just did Mary Holland. SITE PLANS Setting of Final Hearings: Mr. Ward: Burger King Restaurant - This proposed site plan is for a 3,000 square foot fast food restaurant on a vacant 3 acre parcel on Route 25 in Mattituck. SCTM% 1000-122-7-3.1. Mr. Orlowski: I make a motion that ~ BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board set Monday, March 7, 1994 at 7:30 P.M. for a final public hearing on the maps dated December 21, 1993. Mr. Latham: Second. Mr. Ward: All in favor? Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Ortowski, Mr. Ward. Mr. Ward: Opposed? Motion carried. APPROVAL OF PLANNING BOARD MINUTES Mr. Ward: The Board to approve the December 13, 1993 Board minutes. Mr. Latham: I'll approve those. Mr. Ward: Is there a second on that? Mr. Orlowski: I wasn't here. Was I here? Mr. Ward: Well, did you read them? Mr. Orlowski: I read them, but... Mr. Latham: Well, if you read them (inaudible) Mr. Orlowski: I second it. Mr. Ward: OK. Mr. Latham: Second. Mr. Ward: Motion seconded. All in favor? Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Orlowski, Mr. Ward. Mr; Ward: Opposed? Motion carried. Mr. Ward: That's the end of the formal part of the meeting. We would rather go to an executive session or a work session to handle any other items/ unless you want them specifically on the record. Mr. Orlowski: Move for adjournment. Mr. Latham: Second.
