Atty Wickham has received an excuted option fran Anne Y.
Baum for purchase of the parcel west of and adjoining the
Veteran's l4emorial Park site for the sum of $20,000.

of the llattituck Park District of the Town of Southold,
County of Surfolk,Hew YOrk, as follows:
Section 1. '!bat a special meeting of the resident tax-
payers or said Park Dl.strict shall be held in the Fire-
house , Pike Street,in lfattituck,New York,in said Park
District on the 22nd clay of November,19f1:),at 6:45 o'clock
P.Y.,Eastern Standard Time,for the purpose of voting by
bellot upon the propositions hereinafter set forth. '!be
polls will be kept open for receipt of ballots between the
hours of 7:00 0' clock P.M. and 10:00 0' clock P .Y. Eastern
Standard Time.
Section 2. That a noticeof said special district meeting,
including the propositions to be voted shall be in sub-
stantially the following fonn, to wit.
E-roposition #l Ihe purchase of Baum property adjoing west f
side of Veteran's Memorial Park site for the sum of
$2O,eoo. which includesnecessary expenses in acquiring
the property which will be paid out of surplus fund of
said Park Dl.strict fran of aale of sand and gravel.
PropositionH"2 '!bat the Boarrd of COIIIIIissioners of the
Mattituck ParK District be authorized to expend not more
than $J.2,OOO. for the improvement of Park Dl.strict site
on Mattituck Creek at the foot of Love Lane,including
erecting a dock, buildings, equipment and facilities and
cost therof shall be paid fran available surplus funds
of said Park District fran sale of sand and gravel.

Robert L. Bergen appointed chairman of the special meeting
Canmrs to look into the Bailie's Beach property where the
scouts an building.

us Mischief to our present insurance policy at the bay.
)(r Webber ,Engineer with the County Dredge inspected our
west bay site and told us it was not feasible to have the
County Dredge work in that area as project was too small.
He also inspected our site on the creek. In regard to the
Staves if we build a bulkhead, he suggested we use 3-4' above
high water plus 6' fortide plus5' for mean low water plus6'
. into sand bottom plus additional feet for mud bottom. Also
went over the st;yro-1'oam 1'loating docks for creek.
The subject of purchasing the Reiley property 1'or parking
was brought up. The cOllllllissioners turned the offer down.
No further business the meeting adjoined.
