present was Mr. Barry AJ.ec, Mr. Leon Mi~owski, Mr. Mike
Winiarz, Mr. Henry Rqnor and the owner of the Mattituck
_Stationery store.
The minutes of the ~ast meeting were read and
approved.
Mr. Bergen reported not having to advertise
on the sid1lW'~ aJ.ongside of the Love Lane Shop.
Corrazzini has done the work.

Mr.
The visitors, aJ.~ merchants of the village of
Mattituck, then asked what was going to be done with
the dock at the foot of Love Lane. Mr. Bergen exp~ained
that the dock would be in operation this year as they
were under contract with Mr. Tom Reeve. Mr. Murphy
added that the discussion of the disposition of the docks
in the future was started dUll to the fact of the great
cost of maintaining them and aJ.so the expense that might
_ be forthcoming should pumping stations be mandated by
_ the State of New York. Mr. Murphy further stated that
the Park Commission was set up origin~ for the
p~easure of the Mattituck residents and that would be
the main consideration of the Commissioners in the future
p~snning of the site at the foot of Love Lane.
i~r. Bergen then thanked the men for their interest
and they ~ef't the meeting.

The Commissioners reported having exercised their
option to ren1lW their contract with Mr. Tom Reeve for
the sum of $200.00.
Mr. Reeve reported that he had contacted Mrs.
Schwicker's newphew ebout the estate and the property
on Marratooka Lake.
The Commissioners discussed the Phillips Investiga-
tion Service. Mr. Murphy will contact Mr. Phillips
ebout patrolling the sound sites at least twice a night
for Fri~s, Saturdays and Sundays.

The Commissioners reported that after inspecting
the Love Lane site they did not feel bulkheading was
needed at this time.
The Secretary was instructed to write a letter
directly to the L.I.Liggting Co. man who personally
installed all the new bulbs at the ball park site.
The 1973 budget was discussed and the Commissioners
and Treasurer will work on it.
Mr. Murphy suggested writing to the Southold Town
Police Department asking for an increase of patrol and
assistance in traffic control at the ball park now that
the ball season has begun. The secretary was so
instructed.

Mr. Murphy reported that he and Mr. Muir had in-
spected two ice skating rinks. They have au appoint-
ment with the Nassau County Park Commission to inspect
others which might be more practical for our locale.
