We are enclosing samples, which are being submitted in compliance with the above-referenced bid.
Please Note! The samples are in accordance with the specified strength. However, since these are
the only bags that we have in stock at the present time, the size of some bags may differ with a couple
of inches. Also, the color of some bags may be different.
Upon approval of our bid we shall manufacture the bags exactly according to the specified
size/color. The purpose of the samples is to test the strength of the bag and the material we are
offering. These samples do serve this purpose.
All shipments made consistent with the enclosed samples will be deemed in full conformance with
bid specifications. We are relying upon approval of these samples for compliance of its bid and will

THIS BAG IS INTENDED FOR ALL HOUSEHOLD KITCHEN GARBAGE. (Bulky "rubbish" items
must be disposed of separately by your carter or delivered to the u'ausfer station over the vehicle scales).
All bags must be closed securely and tied with drawstring. DRAWSTRING MAY NOT HOLD
WEIGHT OF FILLED BAG. HOLD FILLED BAG AT SIDES ro LIFT.
"Town Bags" are required BOTH tbr curbside pickup AND for garbage "self-hauled" by residents to the
Cutchogue Transfer Station (operating hours 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, 7 days a week, except holidays).
Vehicles bringing garbage to fl~e Transfer Station must display wdid permit (available ONLY at Town
Hall) or pay a separate single entry fee.

DELIVERY AND STORAGE:
Contractor-Operated Distribution and Billing Program
Storage
The contractor shall provide a suitable secure storage location of the manufactured Town trash bags for furore
delivery to local stores now acting as the points of sale. This storage location must provide a dry and suitable
atmosphere for storage of the bags in cardboard cases to prevent deterioration of the bags and to prevent mold
and mildew from forming on stored products. The palletlzed cases shall be stored in a manner saitable to
prevent crushing of the individual cruses and to maintain the cases in good condition at all times.
Distribution
The contractor will provide a fax and voice call mtmber to where local merchants may place an order for bags.
The contractor, and/or its subcontractor will provide delivery of the order of quantity of bags within 48 hours,
unless the order is placed on a Friday. Friday orders must be filled no later than the following Tuesday,
Billing
The contractor shall invoice the point-of-sale merchants on a regular basis and establish a strict payment policy
to assure all accounts remain current. On a weekly basis, the contract shall provide to the Town Department of
Finance and Budget a record of orders, shipment and payments received. On a monthly basis, the contractor
shall issue payment to the Town for the total amount received for the quantity of bags sold to point-of-sale
merchants less the contracted price for providing the service for storage, distribution and billing.

DELIVERY AND STORAGE:
Contractor-Operated Distribution and Billing Program
Storage
The contractor shall provide a suitable secure storage location of the manufactured Town trash bags for future
delivery to local stores now acting as the points of sale. This storage location must provide a dry and suitable
atmosphere for storage of the bags in cardboard cases to prevent deterioration of the bags and to prevent mold
and mildew from forming on stored products. The palletized cases shall be stored in a manner suitable to
prevent crushing of the individual cases and to maintain the cases in good condition at all times.
Distribution
The contractor will provide a fax and voice call number to where local merchants may place an order for bags.
The contractor, and/or its subcontractor will provide delivery of the order of quantity of bags within 48 hours,
unless the order is placed on a Friday. Friday orders must be filled no later than the following Tuesday.
Billing
The contractor shall invoice the point-of-sale merchants on a regular basis and establish a strict payment policy
to assure all accounts remain current. On a weekly basis, the contract shall provide to the Town Department of
Finance and Budget a record of orders, shipment and payments received. On a monthly basis, the contractor
shall issue payment to the Town for the total amount received for the quantity of bags sold to point-of-sale
merchants less the contracted price for providing the service for storage, distribution and billing.

"TOWN GARBAGE BAG" RULES
THIS BAG IS iNTENDED FOR ALL HOUSEHOLD KITCHEN GARBAGE. (Bulky "rubbish" items
must be disposed of separately by your carter or delivered to the transfer station over the vehicle scales).
All bags must be closed securely and tied with drawstring. DRAWSTRING MAY NOT HOLD
WEIGHT OF FILLED BAG. HOLD FILLED BAG AT SIDES TO LIFT.
"Town Bags" are required BOTH for curbside pickup AND for garbage "self-hauled" by residents to the
Cutchogue Transfer Station (operating hours 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, 7 days a week, except holidays).
Vehicles bringing garbage to the Transfer Station must display valid permit (available ONLY at Town
Hall) or pay a separate single entry fee.

THIS BAG IS INTENDED FOR ALL HOUSEHOLD KITCHEN GARBAGE. (Bulky "rubbish" items
must be disposed of separately by your carter or delivered to the transfer station over the vehicle scales).
All bags must be closed securely and tied with drawstring. DRAWSTRING MAY NOT HOLD
WEIGHT OF FILLED BAG. HOLD FILLED BAG AT SIDES TO LIFT.
"Town Bags" are required BOTH for curbside pickup AND for garbage "self-hauled" by residents to the
Cutchogue Transfer Station (operating hours 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, 7 days a week, except holidays).
Vehicles bringing garbage to the Transfer Station must display valid permit (available ONLY at Town
Hall) or pay a separate single entry fee.
