HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-04/19/1950 MATTITUCK PARK COMMISSION a MINUTES April 19, 1950 . A meeting of the Mattituck Park Commissioners was held April 19th,2 1950. The meeting was called to order at ~:30 P.M. by Chairman Reeve. Commissioner Wasson and Chairman Reeve, the Treasurer and Secretary were present. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by a motion by Com. Wasson and seconded by Chairman Reeve. It was agreed to see Lloyd Hamilton, Sunday April 23rd, at 11:15 A.M. regarding his halt of the road at the Rambo dock site. The previous date was not kept due to the illness of Chair. Reeve. Com. Wasson checked with Harold Price about the parking space at the Sound site and he will let the Commissioners know just what can be done. Com. Wasson reported that the fill had been delivered to the Bay site but had not been spread. Bills were presented to the Treasurer for: . Long Island Traveler Vera Sternemann $58.25 17.00 . Motion by ~om. Wasson & seconded by Chairman Reeve to pay these bills and also to pay Jack Rose and Leo Baldwin who acted as tellers at the special meeting of the Park District on March 30, 1950, $5.00 each as is customary. Treasurer's report read - balance on hand after all bills were paid - $4,325.57 There was some discussion about improving the refreshment stand at the Sound. No action taken. It was agreed that Chairman Reeve should take any fill he can get at $1.00 per yd. delivered for the Bay site. MINUTES - April 19, 1950 page #2 . Amotion was made by Com. Wasson and seconded by Chairman Reeve to have the poison Ivy killed at the Bay site. Next meeting to be held on May 17th, 1950 at 8:30 P.M.
