office on July 15. 1914 with all COIIIIIlissioners present.

Mr. Bergen reported b\q'ing a dozen chairs and three
tables and a refrigerator for the Breakwater Site. The
refrigerator vas purchased through Grabie's and chairs
and tllbletl bougbt rroia Laurence of Riverhead.
Mr. Bergen reported that signs "lfo Dop" and "lfo
Horsee" vere put up at the Breakwater site.

Mr Murphy reported that the tennis courts are
completed and Mr. Corazzini will aeed around them in
the tall.
Mr. Murphy mentioned the putting ot a point and
pump st; the ball park site to use in the rest rooms.
1he rest l'OOlIIB are very unsanitary and smelly. Walter
Dohm is to check on this and also the irrigation line.
It was asked it Frank Knispel had used the dock yet
and whether the insuranc policy had been received.
Mr. Bergen said Mr. Lark, the attorney was to come
to the meeting at 8:30. He is coming about the Veterans I
Memorial Park site and the Fire Department race track.
Mr. Murphy reported that Mr. Matz1llllll;Y'e, Chiet
Engineer ot the Suttolk County Department ot Public Works
suggested writing a letter to the County Executive asking
tor pel"ll1ss1on to use the Wolt Pit Parcel.
eo-1ss1oners unanimously agreed to raise the
treasurer's bond to $60 ,000 from the $15,000 now in torce.
Mr. Murphy reported that Mr. Krause has the deposit
money tor'&ll the keys handed out tor the dock site.
Candee Ulmet asked tor a raise from $2.50 per hour
tor issuing park pel"ll1s. The Commissioners telt that
the raise was not necessary.
Mr. Lark entered the meeting and brought in the
check ot Carl Baunach tor $10 tor renewal ot the Veterans I
Park concession contract. He also brought in $50 ($25
in cash and $25 in certified check) from Mr. Senakis.
Madeline Haas also received a check tor $50 troa
Mr. Senakis. Mr. Senakis still has $50 outstanding.
Mr. Lark also rl,ported on Stuart MacMl.llan' s contract
tor Love Lane. To run from July 1st to Sept. 1st tor
$225. on June 14th, $225 on July 15, $225 in August and
$225 in September. Mr. Lark said he told him exactly
What his duties were. Mr. Lark brought in the signed
contract .

The Mattituclt Fire Department race track at
Veteran's MelllOrial Park would run from south to north
parall.el with B~ Avenue. The arch would be about
15 feet froII the Boulevard. All iJqll'Ovements to be
made by Fire Department and become Park District
property except for an;r arch which the Fire Department
would take dovn.
