HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-01/19/1976 . _ Minutes of Regular Meeting of the Board of Com- missioners of the Mattituck Park District held on January 19, 1976 at the office of Mr. Laurence Reeve with all Commissioners present. Mr. Robert L. Ber~en was motioned, seconded and unanimously elected as Chairman of the Board for the 1976 year. . Mrs. Madeline Haas was appointed as Secretary for the 1976 year. The North Fork Bank & Trust Company, Mattituck office, was appointed as official depositary for the 1976 year. Minutes of the December meeting were read and ap- proved after making addition of looking into the premiums on officers' bonds which had been omitted. Treasurer's report was read and approved: . David Allen, the man to use the ramp for loading his truck on U.S.Coast Guard landing craft, is associ- ated with Chesterfield Associates. Mr. Reeve asked if any calcium was put around the spiles at the Love Lane site. Mr. Murphy mentioned having put rubber tires around them filled with anti- freeze. Mr. Bergen reported on Walter Williams. He is still in the hospital and is coming along slowly. Officer Becker from the Environmental Protection Agency stopped the taking of gravel about two weeks ago. He claimed we had to have a permit. Mr. Lark has applied for the permit. Mr. Bergen reported speaking to Mr. Martochhia about leasing the parking field on Love Lane to the Town. The liability insurance would be assumed by the Town.
