Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held on

The minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved.
The Treasurer's report was read and approved:

Mr. Bergen reported going to the Town Board and asking
to have the Town take over the insurance on the parking
lot on Pike Street. This was done because the parking
lot is used by everyone and net restricted to park
district residents. The Town Board so approved. They
took the insurance over as of November 11th.
Mr. Bergen and Mr. Reeve signed their bonds and Mr.
Bergen to take them to Town Clerk's Office for filing.

Mr. Murphy said he would apply for the permit
from the New York State Environmental Council for
the removal 01' sand and gravel.
Mr. Murphy reported that Ruland check the lights
at the Wolf Pit Lake site getting ready for the
skating season.
Mr. Bergen reported that the Southold Town Police
are going to patrol at the two Bay sites, the docks
and the Sound sites.
The Commissioners are to go to the Veterans Park
site and see where it would be feasible to put
the basketball court Drew Dillingham has approached
the Commissioners about.
The election 01' commissioner to fill the
vacancy of the term of Francis J. MurphY which
expires December 31, 1976. Mr. Murphy was running
for new term of three years commencing January 1, 1911.
Mr. Reeve had sworn in the Inspectors 01' election,
David Tuthill, Ruth Krause and Chippy Bennett at
6:~5 P.M. Polls were open at 1:00 P.M. and declared
closed at 9:00 P.M.
After counting the ballots Mr. Murphy was
dei:lared elected for the new term 01' 3 years cOllllllenc-
ing January 1, 1911.
No further business to come before the meeting,
the meeting was adjourned.
