Minutes of the Regular Meetinp, of the Board of
Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held
on January 16, 1978 at the Mattituck High School
Library with all members present. Mr. Henry Raynor
and Mr. Eric Bressler, Attorney for the Itstrict,
were also present. Madeline Haas, Secretary was
absent due to sickness.

Commissioner Murphy was nominated for the
position of Chairman, seconded by Gerard Goehringer
and carried.
A motion was made by Chairman Murphy to
designate The North Fork Bank and Trust Company,
Mattituck ~ranch, as depositOI~ for our funds,
seconded by r.erard Goehrinp,er, and carried. "
Treasurer Melot informed the (bnunissloners
that he is still working on the annual report.
The Treasurer's report was read and approved.

Motio~ made by Gerard Goehringer, seconded by
Laurence Reeve appointtng Madeline Haas as secretary.
Motion carried.

Motion was made by Laurence Reeve, seconded by
Frank Murphy to reimburse the Mattituck YOuth Activities
for the liability insurance. Motion carried.
A motion wall made by Frank Murphy, seconded by'
Laurence Reeve to appoint Wickham, Wickham & Bressler,
P.C. as attorneys for the year.
Henry Raynor brought up the question of the use ot
the Love Lane Marina. This matter was discussed at length
with Mr. Bressler and the Commissioners.
Mr. Bressler explained the status of the case ot
some of the residents of Capt. Kidd Estates against
the D.E.C. and the Mattituck Park District.

Mr. Bressler advised that it would be to everyone's
advantage it we advertised fol' a three week's period for
elections of any kind. A motion made by Laurence Reeve
that the elections be advertised for a three week'period,
secnnded by Gerard Goehringer, was carried.
No further business to come before the meeting, the
meeting was adjourned.
