Hr. Murphy stated that the man running the
concession at the Sound would not let anyone on
the beach use the bathrooms unless they purchased
something at the concession. Mr. Reeve said he
would take care of the situation.

Commissioners reported Bob Marchica had taken
the concession over at Memorial Park. '11!e contract
was for $75.00

CIJ&les King has straightened all the piles at
Lo~e site. Docks are also all~k in. This
reported by Commissioners.
Mr. Goehringer said John Burkhardt asked about two
more tennis courts at Memorial Park. Commissioners
said we do not have the money at the present time.
Mr. Goehringer also asked about why a ramp was
never put down on James Creek. Money again - You need
a private parking lot as well as the ramp.
The Board of Directors of the Library would like
to borrow some park benches and we in turn could have
the broken concrete to put down to help stabilize the
dunes on the Sound. Commissioner Murphy suggested
buying three concrete benches from Riverhead Cement
Blcok for the Library. Approved.
Attorney Bressler stated that the Chamber of
Commerce would like to do something with the Love Lane
Site. Mr. Bressler read some stipulations made by
the Chamber. Commissioners said that they would be
interested. All they have to do is come up with a
feasible proposal.

was the topic of conversation. Mr. Cortese felt it
should be closed and the property re-constituted to its
