Re~~r Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of
the Mattituck Park Commission held ~t Commissioner
Reeve's Office on September 24, 1979 with all
Commissioners present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved.
Bidding for a truck as advertised was declared
closed.
The Secretary opened the following bids:

1979 84" cab to axle truck

All bids for the truck were rejected. The
truck is to be re-bid (either 1979 or 1980) with
a long wheel base (84" cab to axle).
The Treasurer's report was approved as read.

Mr. Graeb stated that the Park District post
office mailbox is number 1413 at the Mattituck Post
Office.
A letter from New York Telephone Company was
received asking for permission to build a fence around
the ship-to-shore telephone equipment on the Veterans'
Memorial Park site and to be done entirely at the
telephone company's expense. Permission granted.
Communication was received from the County of
Suffolk regarding a complaint of racial discrimination
of Mr. Walter Williams.
This letter is to be turned over to our attorneys
for consideration. The letter was dated August 22nd,
1979 and the envelope was postmarked September 20, 1979.
A letter is to be written to Mr. Papadapoulos
advising hims that as a reimbursement for part of his
loses from closing the sound concession, the Commission
will pick up the utility bills.
No further business to come before the meeting,
the meeting was adjourned.
