The minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved.
The Treasurer's report was approved as read:

A A motion is hereby made by Frank Murphy that
the SUP.l of $2,337.88 now in an account known as the
Gravel account be transferred into the account known
as the Reserve Account with a current balance of
. $5 ,371. 81.
It is further moved that after the transfer of
the aforementioned funds, the total of $7709.69 then
existing in the Reserve Account be set aside and used
exclusively tovards the purchase of the land in
Laurel.

The motion was seconded by Mr. Goehringer.
Vote: 2 Ayes 1 Nay. Motion carried.
Mr. Graeb brought up the subject of the Park
District possibly taking over the Legion Hall and
property. The concept of taking over the property
is "ood but a m.np, of the Lep,ion, the Park DI~ct
and the la"Yer is to be arranp,ed to review and d~s
the technicalities.
J. J. Hart is to be notified that if the truck is
not delivered by December 25th, the order will be cancel-
led. If cancelled, nep,otiations will be made with the
4It second lowest bidder - Kenney Chevrolet.
Mr. Reeve had sworn in the Inspectors of Election
at 7:00 P.M. and announced the polls open for the election
of a Park Commissioner to replace Francis J. Murphy whose
term expires December 31, 1979. Mr. Murphy is running
unopposed.
Polls were declared closed at 9:00 P.M.

Francis J. Murphy declared Park Commissioner for
a new term to commence January 1, 1980 and Expire
December 31, 1982
No further business to come before the meeting, the
meeting was adjourned.
