Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the
MattituckPark District held on August 19, 1987 at 7:30 P.M. at the Park District
office on Main Road, Mattituck, New York, with all Commissioners present.
Absent: Secretary, Madeline Haas.
The annual budget vote was held this evening and the Inspectors of Election
were sworn in by Mr. Adams at 7:00 P.M. Inspectors were Bonnie Adams and
Chippy Bennett. Polls were declared open at 7:00 P.M.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The Commissioners discussed the hiring of a new man. The job description
for maintenance worker is: Staring salary - $250.00 per week. After three months
of probationary work, worker to receive full hospitalization (family or single).
Hours: May 1st to September 5th (Labor Day - 40 hours per week. 6:30 A.M. to
3:00 P.M. daily with Saturday and Sunday for garbage pick-up - ~ hour for lunch.
September 5th - May 1st - 35 hours per week. Check all park sites including garbage
pick-up. Must sign in and out after each day of work.
Paid Holidays: 7 full days - New Year's Day, Lincoln's Birthday, Washington's
Birthday, Veterans' Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
Painting, cutting of grass, plumbing, carpenter work, general light maintenance.
Whatever assigned by Park Foreman.

No further business to come before the meeting, meeting adjourned.
At 9:00 P.M. the the polls were declared closed and the Inspectors of
Election tallied the votes. The number of ballots cast was 7 and there were
7 '~es" votes. Budget declared passed for 1988.
