HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-07/21/1982 Minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held at the home of Mr. Frank Murphy on July 21, 1982 at 1:30 P.M. Commissioner Goehringer and Treasurer Graeb were absent. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Wells " 225.00 L.I.Crop Servo " S12.00 North Fork Sign " 113.00 Barkers Pharmacy " 48.49 Commissioners reported telephone poles gotten and installed at Breakwater to try to keep -,u'..e:,ht..oI'I1aD.. n.i"f" +:.hA bpPd":h_ Mr. Murphy mentioned the need of a trailor for loading and unloading things on and off the back of the truck. Tractor will be re-built during the winter. A new mower has to be gotten before the next spring season comes along. New swing sets are up at the Breakwater site. The seats for the swings have to be picked up in the next day or so. Playground things will be gotten for the Veterans Memorial Park site. Being that Jeff Strong was unable to operate the concession at the Veterans Memorial Site, it was awarded to Mr. James Kreh for the balance of the season for the sum of $50.00. A letter is to be sent to Mr. Everhart stating that the Commissioners felt that due to the lack of coopera- tion in fulfilling his agreement to be sure no one slept overnight on the beach and the beach not being cleaned up, The Peconic Surf Boarding Club will not be awarded permission to use the Yacht Club site again.
