Minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of
Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held
on June 15, 1983 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mattituck High
School Library. with all Commissioners present with
the exception of Mr. Burke.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved.
The Treasurer's report was approved as follows:

Mr. George Kreiling attended the meeting regarding
the Love Lane site. He offered to take care of the
site regarding the bathrooms and showers and flowers
and said he would get back to the Commissioners at
a later date with his decision.
Paul Corazzini and Sons gave an estimate of
$4790 to grade-off, filled in and stalllize the
sub-base at Veterans Memorial Park where serious
pot holes are and to put a base coat in critical
areas .
Check for $121.26 received from Kilian Garvey
for damage to the park sites.
No bids were received on the concession at
Veterans Memorial Park. Commissioners to contact
Mr. Kreh, last year's concessionaire and see if
he would like to run it again.
Mr. Muir to be contacted about putting a life
guard t'ull time at the Yacht Club property.
The Commissioners reported applying for electrical
service at the Aldrich Lane site.
Secretary instructed to send a letter to the
Mattituck High School Ding-a-Lings for their donation
of $700 to the District. The money is to be used
toward a back stop at the Aldrich Lane site.
Mr. Murphy is to contact Mr. Arthur N. Penny about
drawing up information for the plaques to be erected
honoring past Park Commissioners.
No further business to come before the meeting,
the meeting was adjourned.
