After investigation and inspection the Board finds~that
applicant requests permission to erect an accessory building
in front yard area of proper~y on the north side of Soundview
Avenue, Southold. The findings of the Board are that the
neighbor to the east has a garage which is practically on
the line, 18 feet closer to Soundview Avenue than the proposed
shed. There are several other garages in the frsnt yard
area in the vicinity of applicant's property. The Board agrees
with the reasoning of the applicant.
The Board finds that strict application of the Ordinance
would produce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardshipl
the hardship created is unique and would not be shared by all
properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property
and in the sa~e use district! and the variance will not change
the character of the neighborhood%'hn~ #ill'observe the spirit
of the Ordinance. ' '
